Mindcreek

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026  ·  Effective: June 10, 2026

1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Mindcreek (“Mindcreek,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with the Mindcreek QuickBooks Online data-extraction application (the “Application”). The Application is used internally by Mindcreek to extract accounting data from Mindcreek’s own QuickBooks Online company file(s). This policy applies to information handled by the Application.

2. Information We Collect

The Application accesses and collects the following:

3. How We Use Information

We use the information solely for Mindcreek’s internal business purposes, including:

We do not use the information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data extracted by the Application is stored on Mindcreek-controlled servers (on-premises infrastructure). We do not use a third-party cloud hosting provider to store this data. We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information, including restricting access to authorized personnel, protecting authentication credentials, and encrypting data in transit and at rest where appropriate. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain extracted QuickBooks Online data for up to 12 months from the date of extraction, after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required to comply with a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute. Authentication tokens are retained only for as long as the connection to QuickBooks Online is active and are revoked or deleted when the connection is removed.

6. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share the data collected by the Application with third parties. Because the data is stored on Mindcreek’s own infrastructure, we do not transfer it to external hosting or processing sub-processors. We may disclose information only where required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mindcreek.

7. Use of Intuit and QuickBooks APIs

The Application accesses QuickBooks Online through APIs provided by Intuit Inc. Our access to and use of QuickBooks Online data is subject to Intuit’s developer terms and applicable Intuit data-handling requirements. We access only the data necessary for the Application’s internal purpose and handle Intuit-derived data in accordance with those requirements. Intuit’s own privacy practices are governed by Intuit’s privacy policy.

8. Your Rights and How to Contact Us

Because the Application processes Mindcreek’s own business accounting data for internal use, requests regarding that data should be directed to Mindcreek. If you have questions about this policy or wish to make a request concerning the data the Application handles, contact us at jfoster@mindcreek.com and we will respond as appropriate and as required by applicable law.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Application is an internal business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will take effect when the updated policy is posted.

11. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact Mindcreek at jfoster@mindcreek.com.
